Services for Rheba Inez Akin, 84, Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Mike Daniels officiating.

Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park.

Mrs. Akin died July 27, 2006, in Tyler.

She was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Wizard Wells and had lived in Tyler since 1964. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was a member of Red Roumpers and Haylofters Square Dance clubs.

She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Chester Akin, and grandson, Christopher Calvin Pacheco.

Survivors include sons, J.B. Akin, Thornton, Colo., James Michael Akin, Bullard; daughters, Inez Keller and Sharon Ann Pacheco, both of Tyler; one sister; one brother; one half sister; one stepsister; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
