Mt. Vernon - Services for Martha E. Neil , 81, Mt. Vernon, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 1995, at the First Presbyterian Church, Mt. Vernon, with the Rev. Warren Fikejs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher. Mrs. Neil died at 4:20 a.m. Monday, May 29, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, after a long illness. She was born June 15, 1913, near Onward, the daughter of Clint and Mary Jane Vandergrift. She was a LPN at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center, retiring in 1980.She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and Woman's Auxiliary. Survivors include four daughters, Carole Garoutte, Sherry Estes and Patricia Merritt, all of Mt. Vernon, and Brenda Clayton of Billings; one brother, Wesley Vandergrift of Mt. Vernon; 12Grandchildren and nine great-children. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
