Mrs. Barbara Hostler
Wife of John Hostler, deceased, died at the home of her daughter, west of Bellwood, yesterday morning. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Domer, of Antis township. She was born September 25, 1827, and was aged at death 76 years, 6 months and 8 days. She had been a member of the Lutheran church from her early childhood and was esteemed by all who knew her. Eight children survive her: Mrs. Martha Reigh, of Pittsburg; Mrs. R. B. Matthews, of St. Paul, Minn.; E. J. and W. S. Hostler, of Hollidaysburg; J. W. Hostler, of Altoona; E. D., W. L. and Minnie, of Bellwood. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock, at her late home, conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. A. Hartman. Interment in Antis cemetery.
