Sweetwater, Nov. 22 - Funeral for Mrs. A. R. Martin, 63, resident of Sweetwater since 1937, was set for 3 p.m. Monday at the Pentacostal Church of God here. The Rev. H. F. Smith, pastor, was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. Howard Statum, pastor of the Fourth & Pine Sts. Church of God. Burial was in Sweetwater Cemetery by Patterson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Martin died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in Sweetwater Hospital after a long illness.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. A. R. Simms of Brownsville, Mrs. W. W. Millett, Mrs. M. L. Burnett and Mrs. Jesse Weatherford, all of Sweetwater; one son, Lloyd Wadlington of Sweetwater; one step-daughter, Mrs. L. H. Shirley of Dallas; two step-sons, Thomas Martin and James Martin, both of Dallas; two brothers, A. A. Kerby of Dallas and M. O. Kerby of Sweetwater; three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Kerr of Merkel, Mrs. Artie Tabor of Arizona and Mrs. Jean Hartman of California; and 18 grandchildren.
