George B. King, after a prolonged illness, died of complications at 3:10 p.m. Thursday at the residence of his granddaughter, Katharine, wife of Charles Raifsnider, Reading Gardens, aged 71 years. He was bedfast 11 months. Deceased was a native of Minersville and for 22 years employed in the cold roll department at the plant of the Carpenter Steel Company. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and Twentieth Century Quakers. He leaves his widow, Rosa L. (Burkert) King, at home; one son, Winton A. King, this city; and three brothers: Samson and William King, this city; and Leonard King, Arkansas. The remains were removed to the retaining rooms of Funeral Director Cramp.
