BERNICE ELLEN INGLEY

Bernice Ellen Ingley, 83, died at 9:14 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Gallagher Memorial Chapel with Rev. W. B. Gillespie officiating. Burial was in the Sweetwater Cemetery, directed by Cate-Spencer & Gallagher Funeral Home of Sweetwater.

Born Sept. 19, 1908, in Anson, she had lived in Sweetwater since 1925. She had worked as a cook for Allen's Cafe and for the Bluebonnet Hotel.

Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Hefner of Sweetwater, a son, Walter Armstrong of Petersburg; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bill Allen, Morris Guelker, Calvin Daniels, Bill Lightfoot, Rev. Malcolm Brown and Charles Swafford.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
