After graduating Ahpeatone High school, near Walters, Oklahoma in 1948, he attended Cameron Jr. College on a Basketball Scholarship.
He was united in marriage to Glenna Deloris Nault, of Grandfield, on September 24, 1950, at Grandfield, Oklahoma. They made their home in Frederick.
Bob was a route salesman for several companies in southwest Oklahoma and spent the last 35 years of his career with Coca-Cola and will be remembered fondly for driving in his Coke truck.
Bob was a faithful Sunday school teacher to many over the years at First Baptist Church, Frederick, where he loved serving his Lord and Savior. He spent his retirement as a humble servant to the Frederick community. He was the recipient of the Frederick Lions Club Most Useful Citizen Award in 2011. He delivered meals for the Meals on Wheels Program. He also assisted with the concession stand each Frederick Bomber home game. He was always an avid Bomber fan and enjoyed cheering them on from his seat in the stands.
Bob will especially be remembered by his neighbors for his servant's heart. Around town Bob was a demonstration of 1 Corinthians 10:24 "Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor".
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ervin and Eunice Bobo.
Survivors include his wife: Glenna D. Bobo, of the home in Frederick, Oklahoma; two sons: Steve Bobo and wife Loyce, of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Mark Bobo and wife Judy of Frederick, Oklahoma; a daughter: Sherri Royce and husband Bob, of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren: Daniel Bobo, Christina Townsend, Clint Bobo, Charity Trout, Lindsey Barkson and Kayla Zoller and 10 great-grandchildren.
