Sweetwater, Jan. 4 - Floyd L. Harris, 52, resident of Sweetwater for the past 30 years, died here at 12:30 p.m. Monday.
He was working at the Gulf Oil Company Refinery when he suffered a heart attack.
Mr. Harris was born on April 8, 1901 in Bernecker. He worked the Gulf Oil Company as a welder for the past 16 years.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by Patterson Funeral Home here.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. H. D. Starnes and Mrs. Keith , Wilson, both of Sweetwater; Roy Harris of Sweetwater; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Harris of Sweetwater; six brothers, Chester, Oscar, Hollis and Bill, all of Sweetwater, Paul Harris of Carlsbad, N.M. and Silas Harris of Fort Smith, Ark.; and three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Moser, Mrs. Flarria Smith and Mrs. Lola Ellison, all of Sweetwater.
