SIDONIA ANTHOLZ

(1902 - 1998)

Sidonia E. Antholz, age 95, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, 1235 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, former Village of Mishicot resident, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 1998, at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 1998, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot, with Rev. Daniel Drews officiating. Burial will be in the Kossuth Evergreen Cemetery, town of Kossuth.

Sidonia was born December 19, 1902, in Sheboygan, Wis., daughter of the late Andre and Minnie (Hartman) Mohr. She married August Antholz on September 12, 1928, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot. He preceded her in death June 19, 1976. Mrs. Antholz was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot, and was a member of the Ladies' Bible Hour of the church. She enjoyed playing the violin and piano, and the beauty of flowers. She is dearly loved and was a loving and kind mother. She will be missed by her family.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Adelaide (John) Ording, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn (Mary Ann) Antholz, Grafton, Wis., and Gene (Terry) Antholz, La Valle, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, Peter (Grace) Ording, John (Nancy) Ording, Mark (Verla) Ording, Margaret (William) Rodewald, Susan (Mames ) Tretow, Linda (James) Kirby, Steven Antholz, Kahla ((Tom) Berczyk, Clayton Antholz, Kimberly (Drew) Prater, Jodi Antholz, and Julie (Bryan) Mills; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Beatrice Antholz Spooner, Wis.; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, one step-sister, and one step-brother.

Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot, until the time of funeral services. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

The Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, is assisting the family with arrangements.
