Mr. Billy Joe Glenn, age 79 of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday morning at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee of natural causes.

He was born January 21, 1936 in Tate Springs, Tennessee the son of the late Arthur C. and Anna C. McGinnis Glenn. He was a member of the Guthrie Church of Christ in Guthrie, Kentucky. He was a farmer and member of the Burley Tobacco Growers Association in Kentucky and Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as one son Eddy L. Glenn Sr.; three brothers James Lee Glenn, Arthur C. Glenn Jr. and David Glenn and two sisters Evelyn Barton and Jane Helton. He is survived by his wife Belvie Woosley Glenn of Trenton, Kentucky; one son Glen Jay Glenn Sr. (Amy) of Clarksville, Tennessee; one daughter Joe Nell Glenn Waters (Larry) of Allensville, Kentucky; a daughter in law Sheila Turner Glenn of Trenton, Kentucky; one brother L.C. Glenn of Guthrie, Kentucky. Also surviving are four grandchildren Eddy Lee Glenn II, Glen Jay Glenn II, Bren Baldwin Glenn and Elizabeth Gale Glenn and two great grandchildren Leah Catherine Glenn and Hadlee Elizabeth Glenn.

Visitation with the Glenn family will be on Thursday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 and again on Friday morning from 9:00 until funeral service time at 10:00 at the Guthrie Church of Christ in Guthrie, Kentucky. Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Friday morning at 10:00 at the Guthrie Church of Christ with Glen Glenn Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Guthrie, Kentucky.
