Mr. Chennault's brother was Claire Lee Chennault, famous for being the leader of the Flying Tigers Air Force group that fought the Japanese on behalf of the Chinese before the U.S. entered World War II.
Claire is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, with a cenotaph located at Garden of Memories, Sweetwater, Texas.
They grew up in my area of Louisiana. I even knew Claire's youngest daughter.
