Theodocia Short, daughter of John Milton Short and Mary Elizabeth Neel of Claiborne Parish, LA. After her father died in the Civil War, Mary Short married Eppa Wariner, a first cousin of John Milton Short. They moved to Wise Co TX in the late 1860's, and Docia married Fredrick Alexander Beall in Denton County in 1880. They moved to Sweetwater before 1882.
