PEKIN ~ Phyllis Crawford, 76, of Pekin, passed away at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at her home.
Born May 22, 1939 in Peoria to Robert C. and Susie (Reuter) Hoffman, she married Dean Crawford on December 29, 1956 in Pekin. He passed away March 1, 2005 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gordon Carl Hoffman.
Surviving are one daughter, Tammy (Kevin) McCabe of Pekin; one son, Rocky Crawford of Pekin; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Roberta (Jack) Starcevich of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Jo Ellen (James) Durham of Pekin. She also leaves behind her very special companion, Dale Watson of Pekin.
A homemaker, Phyllis enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Novmeber 27, 2015 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Tremont. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to Harbor Light Hospice at 3000 N. Main St. East Peoria, IL 61611.
