Dr. Rafael 'Ralf' Francisco Rondon was born on February 14, 1968 in Glendale CA. He is the son of Alfredo C Rondon and Isabel C Lorie, both of whom emigrated from Cuba. Ralf was raised in both Miami and Ft Myers Fl. He graduated valedictorian of his high school. Ralf attended the Florida International University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He then attended the University of Oklahoma and received his Doctorate of Philosophy. During his time in Memphis, he received a Masters of Arts in Catholic Studies and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University. Rafael and his family moved to Muenster, TX in 2009, where he became the Principal of Sacred Heart Catholic School. He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus for the Muenster Chapter. Ralf was a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. He served on several committees around the Diocese and within our Parish: Catechist Instructor, ACTS Retreat Spiritual Director and Team Member, and on the Diocesan Mission Council.
Rafael Rondon is the survived by his wife Mary, and children Rafael "RJ" and Charlotte Rondon, Mother Isabel C Lorie of Orlando, FL, Father Alfredo C. Rondon of Miami FL. Brother Alfredo "Al" Rondon of Glendale CA, Sister Elva and brother-in-law Edwin Kindler of Kennebunk MA, their children Edwin "Eddie", Philip and Henry Kindler, Sister Maria and brother-in-law Elie Alakji, of Orlando, FL and children Jag and Laura Bahl. His Uncle, Rafael and wife Mary Lorie. of Orlando, FL and cousins Cristina and Elena Lorie. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Maria Paspual-Lorie.
Pallbearers were: Sam Hess, Kelly Bob Bayer, Jon LeBrasseur, Jon Grime, Michael Silberstein, Doyle Hess, Gary Endres, Isidor Calmeniro.
