Funeral services for Udean Halford, 84, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Halford passed away at 11:25 a.m., Sunday, November 15, 2015 at NHC Healthcare.
She was born January 13, 1931, at Gamaliel, Arkansas, to Henry Garland Crawford and Flora Ann Rhine Crawford. She was married on September 19, 1951, at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to George “Wayne” Halford. Dean loved to take care of her family and home and enjoyed her flowers. Mrs. Halford was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Curry Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Wayne Halford, of the family home; one daughter, Amber Milner and husband, David, Henderson, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Matthew Milner and wife, Jodi and Megan Milner Soto and husband, Adam, all of Dallas, Texas; one great-granddaughter due next week, Adalyn Grace Milner; two sisters, Verlene Halford, Bakersfield, Missouri and Louise Perry, Kalamazoo, Michigan; and nieces and nephews, Mike and Julie Perry, Dennis and Paige Perry, Mark and Jane Perry and Leisa Perry.
Her parents, one son, Danny Michael, one brother, Billy Gene Crawford, one brother-in-law, Onard Halford and one nephew, Ron Perry, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bakersfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children’s Home and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
