Recent Deaths
HATTERMAN – Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Hatterman, 74, who died Tuesday night after a short illness, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Reims Lutheran Church with Rev. Mueller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmont cemetery.
Mrs. Hatterman became ill Tuesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emma Schroeder, in Fairmont. She had lived in the Fairmont community for 39 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Schroeder and Mrs. Anna Sears, both of Fairmont; two sons, Herman Pralle and Fred Hatterman, both of Fairmont; a brother Emil Senger, Lutherville, Ark.; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
The Brown Funeral Home cared for the body.

Mrs. Augusta Hatterman, nee Senger, was born November 18, 1862, in Germany and died at Fairmont, Okla., Tuesday, July 20, 1937, at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 2 days. She had been in failing health, but her death came suddenly following a stroke of paralysis.
The early years of her life were spent in Germany. She came with her parents to Kansas and in 1880 she was married to Herman Pralle. Mr. Pralle died in 1884. Three children were born to his union, two of whom preceded their mother in death, Mr. Herman Pralle, a son, survives him. In 1887 she married Mr. Fred Hatterman, who died in 1926. Four children were born to this marriage, three of whom survive. They are Mr. Fred W.Hatterman, Mrs. Anna Sears and Mrs. Emma Schroeder, all of this vicinity. A daughter, Mrs. Fred Leseberg, died a few years ago. Mrs. Hatterman also leaves a brother, Emil Senger of Littleville, Ark.; 20 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Zion Lutheran Church and burial was in Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Hatterman had been a resident of Fairmont and vicinity for 39 years and will be sadly missed by her relatives and a host of friends.
