CHESNUT– Alice C., 93, Atrium Manor, formerly of Davidsville, died Oct. 5, 2012, at The Atrium. Born March 9, 1919, in Davidsville, daughter of Nathan and Caroline Thomas. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Henry L. Chesnut, who died Feb. 21, 1991; and six brothers and sisters. Survived by sons, Mark Thomas, married to Sue (Kocher), and Randy Thomas, married to Sharon (Milavic), all of Hagerstown, Md. Also survived by grandchildren, Michael, and wife, Kathryn; Zachary, and wife, Katie; and Anna Marie, Renee and Randal, and great-grandchildren, Emma and Evan. Life member of St. David's Lutheran Church. She retired from Penn Traffic. At Alice's request, there will be no viewing. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at St. Davids's Lutheran Church, Pastor Jeffery Bassette officiating. Private inurnment, Kaufman Cemetery. Those who wish, please make donations to St. David's Lutheran Church or Grane Hospice in Alice's memory. Arrangements by George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.
