Albert McCoy
Albert McCoy, 89, of West Siloam Springs, Okla.,passed away Dec. 21, 2004, at the Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs. Born Nov. 12, 1915 in Watts, Okla., he was the son of Emery and Ollie Carnes McCoy.
He was a veteran of World War II, where he served his country in the United States Navy. He worked most of his life as a self-employed general laborer and was a Baptist. He married Helen Pauline Akin on July 12, 1937 in Watts.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen.
Survivors include one son, Cecil McCoy of Mountain Home, Ark.; and one daughter, Nadine Baukman, of Pocola, Okla.; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Dec. 27 at 11 a.m. at Baptist Mission Cemetery in Westville, Okla., with the Rev. Jim Beavers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Backtsrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
