Mildred Rowena Taylor Aarons passed away in Corpus Christi on April 26, 2006.

She was the daughter of Henry and Suttie (Wiley) Taylor.

Mildred graduated from Whitney High School.

In July of 1976, she married Carl Aarons in Arlington. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1996.

She retired after working at Sears for several years.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Lawrence Taylor; sister, Edna Mae Galiga and great grandchild, Kandra Adams.

Survivorsinclude her children, Linda Lucas of Rockport, Bobby Lucas of Rockport, Billy Lucas of Dallas, Carolyn Jackson of Arlington; brother, Howard Taylor of Victoria; sister, Dorothy Vanderpool of Viola, KS; grandchildren, Shelly Harris, Cathy Baughoffner, Jason Weaver,
Jennifer Stephens, Latisha Cook, Ericka Lucas of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Jeannie Stephens of Rockport;12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
