Lesley Louise K. Wood, 86, of Hollywood, MD, died on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at her residence.
Born on July 24, 1916 in Peach Orchard, AR, she was the daughter of the late James Loury Kennemur and Lantie Belle Lovell Kennemur.
Mrs. Wood was a member of the Hollywood United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Hollywood Methodist Day Group and a retired member of the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Wood is survived by three sons, Ray Wood of Big Pine Key, FL, Ronald "Otis" Wood and Richard "Dickie" Wood both of Hollywood, MD, two grandchildren, Candy Rae Wood Cain of Hollywood, MD and Kristen Lynn Wood of Big Pine Key, FL and a great grandson, Jeffrey David Cain II.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Otis Franklin Wood and four sisters and brothers.
The family received friends on Tuesday, October 15, 2002 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD with prayers recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Hollywood, MD at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Sheldon Reese will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Joy Chapel Cemetery.
