Cynthia (Cindy) Garza Sanchez, 42, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a COURAGEOUS battle with cancer. She was born on April 18, 1963 to the proud parents of Sammy and Melida Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a W.B. Ray High School graduate. She received her Medical Assistant Certification in San Antonio, Texas.

She leaves behind to honor her memory her Loving husband of 20 years Phillip Sanchez and two beautiful daughters Mia Sara (14) and Celeste Neri (8).

She was a devoted Catholic and an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and school. Cindy lived her life as a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grand-daughter, sister and aunt. She touched all of our lives in every way possible. Cindy showed compassion and generosity to all of her family for which we cannot thank her enough. When Cindy was called upon by her family for anything she never hesitated to help out in anyway.

She is survived by her five brothers, Sam Jr. (Sandra) Garza, David Sr. (Melissa) Garza, Danny (Rosalinda) Garza, Tommy Garza, and Martin Garza of San Diego, CA, and one sister, Diana (Lorenzo) Gomez. She touched the lives of all her nieces and nephews in every way imaginable: Eric, Adam, Joseph, LiL Danny & Joe, Marc, Desiree, Angela, Cassandra, Cynthia, David II, Vanessa, Christina, Lisa, Stevie all of whom adored their "Aunt Cindy" are going to dearly miss her. She is also survived by her Maternal Grandmother Esther Gonzalez. Her maternal Aunt Angie (Uncle Cody) Perez and Tio Martin (Tia Sylvia) Crisantes of San Antonio and her only living paternal aunt "Tia Lela" Garcia, whom all are going to miss her dearly along with a countless number of cousins. She was loved dearly by her in-laws, whose lives she also touched in every way: Dr. and Mrs. Orlando Sanchez, Severe (JC) Salinas, OJ Sanchez and Gerette Sanchez, who reside in San Antonio. She leaves behind countless acquaintances and friends.

Services will be held at Memory Gardens.
