Helen Hunt Brent Dickinson, 90, of Crossett died Monday, May 17, 2004. Born July 9, 1913, in Dallas County to Alice Wyatt and James Ernest Brent, she was employed for 42 years with the Crossett Public Schools as a cafeteria. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Crossett and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two grandsons, Chris Allbritton and wife Stephanie of Winfield, IA, and Channing Allbritton and wife Carol of Fulton, MO; one son-in-law, Doug Allbritton of Fulton; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew and Carolyn Ann Allbritton of Winfield and Max Allbritton of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Dickinson; one daughter, Nancy Dickinson Allbritton; four sisters, Vera Harris, Hazel Galbraith, Edna Harrison and Mildred Allbritton; and one brother, Glen Brent.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Crossett with Rev. Larry White officiating. Burial was at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Pallbearers were Jim Knighton, Sonny Brooks, Jack Allen, Herk Williams, Bobby Richardson and Charles Baxley. Honorary pallbearers were Dick Williams, Jack Brent, Rex Harris, Paul Allbritton, Judson Allbritton Jr., Bill Galbraith and Jesse B. Galbraith
