CLEO JUANITA (KIRK) CORRY
Age 92, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Springfield, OH, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. She was born to Wilbur and Grace COLLIS KIRK in Martinsville, OH, on March 30, 1925.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Stewart Riley CORRY; her brother, Kenneth KIRK; her sister, Carmen [KIRK] TOWNSEND (FAG #171884647) and her daughter, Diana CORRY McKEEVER (FAG #200629535).
She is survived by four children:
- Kathryn (Harry) Kempke of Dublin, OH
- Rebecca Sabraoui of Louisville, KY
- Libby (Paul) Rosen of Sunbury, OH
- David Corry (Ron Leithauser) of Urbana, OH
[In addition] son-in-law, Jim McKeever of Gallatin, TN, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Cleo was trained as a nurse at the City Hospital School of Nursing, Springfield, OH, during World War II, but the war ended before she was deployed.
She was a nurse in the OB-GYN unit of Community Hospital [Springfield, OH] for 42 years, until her retirement in 1988.
