Catherine Stettner, daughter of Martin Stettner, of Lebanon Rural Route No. 5, on Monday became the bride of George Brenner, son of Anna Brenner, of 33 South Third Avenue, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Augustus G. Kappes, rector of St. Gertrude's Catholic church, East Lebanon.

Catherine G. Brenner, 88, formerly of 815 Franklin St., died Tuesday at 1:25 a.m. in the Reading Nursing Center, where she had been a patient for nine months.
Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Theresa (Schmidt) Stettner.
She was employed as a practical nurse for 15 years, both private duty and at Berks Heim, retiring in 1966.
Surviving are two sons, Carl F. Brenner, North Port, Fla., and Frank W., Ocean View, N.J.; a brother, Mark Stettner, Reading; and two sisters, Theresa, widow of Carl Kiefer, and Mary, widow of William Kraft, both of Reading.
There are also five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by a son, George W. Brenner.
The Auman Funeral Home, Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
