Moses was born in Barony, Lanark, Scotland; he married and raised a family in Belgrade, Kennebec, Maine; moved to Aledo, Mercer, Illinois, and during the Civil War his sons, Moses jr., Jacob Main, John Fairfield, William Harrison, George Willey and Hannibal I/E served in separate units.
Without the help of the sons, Moses & Olive had to live with their daughter, Abigail Bean in Jackson, Taylor, Iowa where I believe Moses & Olive died. There are no known records as to where they were buried. Dr. John N. Bean has been listed as creating a very nice home/ranch/farm in Jackson and I believe Moses and Olive are buried on that property.
Moses was still alive in 1891 and without the 1890 census,he must have died before 1900. I find no Moses White in the 1900 census.
I need the help of the Bean descendants for resolving the location of where Moses & Olive are buried.

I am the original researcher of this family and I have the original copies of their photos. No one has come to me with claims of errors since 2006. So many researchers have used my families but do not check for proof and have created so many errors that no one except my family have all of the correct data for these people.
Gwen Gieson, Great Great Granddaughter of Moses and Olive White.
