Charles William "Chuck" Adams

1930 - 2015

Early Life: Charles was born November 4, 1930, to James Leslie and Florence Ethel Wilde Adams in Orem, Utah. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Orem.

Life's Work | Service | Interests: He married Shirley Mae Waisner (deceased) they were later divorced. He then married Cleo Ruth Barbieri. He was a United States Marine and served in the Korean War. He worked at Geneva Steel retiring after 36 years when Geneva closed. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served as an ordinance worker in the Provo Utah Temple for six years and in the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple for 18 years. He loved his temple work and those he worked with. He was a farm boy at heart. We always had an abundance of apples and peaches. He had beautiful roses and a well-kept garden. Dear husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, Charles William "Chuck" Adams passed away November 4, 2015, after a short struggle with pneumonia. He was 85.

Survived By: Four children: Randy K. Adams, Darla (Brian) Pendleton, Debra Ann (James) Carr and Bradley (Kim) Adams; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four stepchildren: Caroline Nielson (deceased), Eldon (Vicky) Holmes, Angie Thompson, and James Holmes; 20 step-grandchildren; 41 step great-grandchildren; and four step great-great grandchildren. He has three living siblings: Arlene Dart, Gweneth Adams and Michael Adams and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Preceded In Death By: His parents; one brother, Raymond Adams; five sisters: Ellen Franson, Betty Eastman, NaDene Jacobsen, Bertien Toenjes and Shirlee Ungerman.
