Royce Benjamin Cox, age 83, of Arley, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at South Haven Nursing Home.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his Parents-Preston A. Cox and Annie V. Cox; Brother-Homer Cox; Sister-Zella Cox Butler; Sister-Margaret Cox Brown; Son-Billy Preston Cox, Sr.
Mr. Cox was a member of Arley First Baptist Church. He devoted his life to education. He was a high school principal at Meek High School, Arley, Alabama, Talladega County High School, Lincoln, Alabama, Locust Fork High School, Locust Fork, Alabama and Curry High School, Jasper, Alabama. He retired from Curry High School in 1990.
