Albert J.V. Tomek, 93, of Lower Milford Township died Sunday November 8, 2015 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Lois M. (Patterson) Tomek with whom he celebrated his 68th wedding anniversary last April. Albert was born in Allentown, a son of the late Stephan and Rose (Polak) Tomek.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee during World War II and was employed by Mack Trucks for 30 years before retiring as a supervisor in 1976. In addition to being an avid follower of the Penn State Nittany Lions, Albert enjoyed hunting, bowling, and spending time with his family, especially the company of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors: Wife; sons, John E. Tomek and Daniel S. Tomek both of Lower Milford Township; daughter, Dr. LoisAnn wife of William Schaub of East Setauket, NY; granddaughters, Erika wife of James Makarius, Jr., and their children, Kyleigh and Braeden, and Jessica wife of Dr. Eoin Gregory and their children, Graham and Caleb. Albert also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services: 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. now located at 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Call 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in the Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
