Patricia Ann Adams Tyson
Patricia (Patsy) Ann Adams Tyson, 73, formerly of Dallas, Ga. passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Calhoun County Nursing Home in Edison, Ga . Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home in Blakely with the family receiving friends starting at 1 PM, for an hour before the funeral. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Edison, GA. Rev. Durwood Perry will be officiating the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Gerald Chapman, Hollis Adams, Billy Joe Adams, Randy Bass and Johnny Isler.
Mrs. Tyson was born in Edison, Ga. November 23 , 1941 to the late Dubert Bridges Adams and Beulah Bass Adams. She was a retired legal assistant for the law firm of Southerland, Asbill and Brenner . A member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Dallas , Ga. She received her business education at the Patricia Stevens Business School in Atlanta, Ga. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Tyson.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Mary and Bobby Jackson of Leary, Ga. and Peggy and Brian Slappy of Panama City Beach, Fl. A step-daughter Donna Smith and 2 step- grand children; Stephen and Amy Smith. A nephew, Robert A. Jackson and wife Kim of Edison, three nieces, Monika J. Beckum of Leary, Lisa S. Clark of Crestview, Fl.. and Angela S. Land of Panama City Beach, Fl. There is one great nephew, Jacob Bridges Jackson and two great nieces, Abby Grace Beckum and Marlaina Joy Land.
