Joseph Morgan and his wife, Theola, moved to the Prescott area about 1910. After her death in 1955, he married Mary Ruth. He was a lawyer in Yavapai County until 1945 when he moved to Phoenix to accept a position as an Arizona Supreme Court Justice.
