Robert Mintor Woodall, Sr., 89, of Danville, died on November 7, 2015 in Carillon Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Mr. Woodall was born in Pittsylvania County on November 5, 1926, son of Taylor Patrick Woodall and Dochie Minter Woodall. Mr. Woodall owned Robert Woodall Insurance Agency. He served with the U.S. Navy during W.W. II.
He married the late Dorothy Hylton Woodall. He is survived by three daughters, Sharron Woodall Burke (Eddie), Karen Woodall Ward (Tony), Sandra Woodall Hamilton; sister Mary Lee McGrath; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was predeceased by one son, Robert M. Woodall, Jr., and one grandson, Eben Ward.
Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
