PITTSBURG — Services for Vance W. Andersen, 85, of Pittsburg, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mount Pleasant, with James Wallace officiating. Interment will be in Logan City Cemetery of Logan, Utah. Arrangements are by Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Andersen died August 14, 2006, in Pittsburg. Born June 3, 1921, in Menden, Utah, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II, retired from Malouf Garment Co., and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his sons, Glenn Andersen and Aaron Andersen; daughter, Janice Malouf; and sisters, Lora Woodbury and Barbara Jones. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
