Wanda F. Irwin, age 77, of Powell, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 7, 2015. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Powell and a faithful Christian wife and mother. She taught Sunday school class for many years at Forrest Hills Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia before moving to Powell in 2005. Her faith was always made evident to everyone she met and she looked forward to seeing her Savior face to face. Wanda was also a retired employee of General Electric in Atlanta where she worked for 37 years.

Preceded in death by parents, James R. Loveday Sr. and Grace Loveday; sisters, Eula mae Hill, Bobbie Neff, Katherine Miller and Carol Frye; brothers, Roy, Eugene, Ernest, Troy, and James R. Jr. Survived by her husband, Everett Eugene Irwin; son, Robert Eugene Irwin; grandson, Robert Myles, I; great-grandson, Robert Myles, II; great-granddaughter, Carlie; and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral service: 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, Dr. Clarence Sexton and Brother Dave Rosser officiating. Family and friends will meet at Bookwalter Cemetery at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday for interment at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends 5:00 -7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel.
