Born in Leland, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Joe L. and Lou Dice Benton. She was a head teller with NCNB in Wilmington, N.C., and also with Home Federal Bank in Columbia. She was a charter member of the Ocean Drive Shag Club.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Wolfe Jr.; two sons, Richard C. Mintz of Jacksonville, Fla., and John M. Mintz of Columbia; two brothers, Emerson F. Benton of Hampstead, N.C., and Joseph L. Benton of Norman, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the home of Billy and Anne Ayres, Cherokee Road in Florence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence.
Waters-Powell Funeral Home of Florence is in charge.
