WATERBURY — Mrs. Annie J. (Andrews) Antrum, 82, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Abbott Terrace Health Care Center in Waterbury. Mrs. Antrum was born Feb. 11, 1933, in Johnston, S.C., daughter of the late Mrs. Ellen Andrews Copeland and stepdaughter of the late Mr. Primus J. Copeland.
Mrs. Antrum graduated from Edgefield Training School in Johnston, S.C. and attended Voorhees College in Denmark, S.C. Her work history includes employment with the Hospital of Saint Raphael, Goodwill Industries and the State of Connecticut, retiring from Southbury Training School. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church.
Mrs. Antrum is survived by her sons, Cedric Antrum, Gregory Andrews, Brian Andrews and Raven Antrum Sr. (Rhonda), and her sister, Mrs. Alberta Mobley, all of Waterbury; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at Grace Baptist Church, 65 Kingsbury St., Waterbury. Family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Antrum to Grace Baptist Church.
