Richard Banks Kelso 12/30/1922 ~ 3/4/2004 Richard Banks Kelso passed away March 4, 2004 in Sandy, Utah. At the age of 81. He was born on December 30, 1922 to Furness and Merle Kelso in Fort Morgan, Colorado. He married Ruby Marie Brown Oct. 3, 1942. Richard was a truck driver for 38 years at I.M.L. He was a devoted teamster his whole life. He liked playing the violin, and guitar with his brother Junior. He was a real handyman; he worked on cars, and could do any odd jobs around the house. He is survived by his wife Ruby, his son Richard L Kelso. (Edna), daughter Sharon K. Alvey (Bruce), grandchildren Carrie Carlson (Dave), Larry Weisz, Rick Weisz (Lori), Kimberly Babbel (Jon), Rachel Sanford (Jason), Steven Kelso Hartshorn, Amanda Sue Hartshorn, and 14 great-grand children. Preceded in death by father and mother, two sisters, three brothers, one son, one daughter. He had a great love and devotion for his family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 9, 2004 1:00 pm at Lake Hills Mortuary at 10055 S. State St. Sandy, Ut. Friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment Lake Hills Memorial Park.
