Wanda was a charter and lifetime member of the Port Huron Beautification Committee. She was also a member of Port Huron Golf Club and the Ladies Association, Port Huron Garden Club, Grace Episcopal Church, and was a past president of the Terpsichorean Dance Club. Her volunteer activities included helping pilot the Head Start and Teacher's Aide programs for the PHASD, Port Huron Hospital Auxiliary, Oktoberfest, and Festival of Trees boards.
Wanda is survived by a son, Christopher (Tina) Collins; four step-children, Harley O. (Carol) Boughner, Pamela (Larry) Barnes, Scott Boughner, and Michael (Teresa) Boughner; a granddaughter, Tiffany Collins; three siblings, James (Joyce) Chisholm, Betty McPhee, and Marjorie (Robert) Greene; two sisters-in-law, Joan Collins and Mary Ellen Collins; and 17 nieces and nephews, Karen (Michael) Kress, Marjorie (Royce) Beers, Sally Steward, Robert (Donna) Greene II, Susan (Bill) Combs, Nancy (Patrick) Loftus, Gregory (Annette) Chisholm, Brian (Stephanie) Chisholm, James McPhee, David Smith, Thomas (Elizabeth) McPhee, Timothy (Marisa) Collins, Richard (Mary) Collins, Daniel (Renee) Collins, David (Janice) Collins, Kathy (Brian) Wurmlinger, & James (Donna) Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Buckley Collins and Harley Boughner, a child and step-child, Scott Collins and Shane Boughner, and three brothers-in-law, Floyd McPhee, Wesley Collins, and Richard Collins.
A service in Wanda's memory will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Grace Episcopal Church. The Rev. Robert Trask will officiate.
