"Big Russ" Of West Seneca, NY, entered into rest September 24, 2009, devoted father of Elizabeth (late William) Buckenroth, Kathleen Russert-Hughes, Patricia (Anthony) Scozzaro and the late Timothy (Maureen) Russert; cherished grandfather of Jennifer (David) Bonfessuto, William (Britt) Buckenroth, Luke Russert, Jesse Hughes, Jake Scozzaro, Ashley Hughes and Paige Scozzaro; adored great-grandfather of three great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Frank and Anna (Ring) Russert; dear brother of the late Francis (late Marie) Russert and Mary (late Joseph) Lagler; dearest friend of Michael Shea and Rosemary Trimboli-Burgio; also survived by relatives and many friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Avenue on Saturday 6-9 and Sunday 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Russert was an Air Force Veteran of WW II.
