Pauline J. (Rubash) Colleran , 86, of South Deerfield, a retired registered nurse at Farren Memorial Hospital, Montague, died on Wednesday at home.
Born in Deerfield, she lived most of her life in South Deerfield. She attended Deerfield schools, and was a graduate of the Greenfield Business College.
She had also been graduated from the Farren Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.
Her husband, Dr. John P. Colleran , died in 1958.
She leaves a daughter, Mary Urekew of South Hadley; five sisters, Janet Serrell of Manchester, Conn., Rose Rubash of East Deerfield, Phyllis Long of Fort Worth, Texas, Josephine Campfield of Orange, Va., and Patricia Maher of Woodmont, Conn., and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday morning in the church, with burial in Brookside Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Deerfield Ambulance Fund, in care of Philip Gilmore of 112 Graves St., South Deerfield, 01373.
