Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waite Park, for Albert I. Thielman, 85, 415-33rd Ave. N, who died Tuesday at St. Cloud Hospital from injuries received in a car accident near St. Joseph. The Rev. Kenneth Thielman will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Fri day at Williams Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in St. Cloud. Waite Park Senior Citizens will pray one-half hour before services Saturday at the church.
Albert Thielman was born Jan. 20, 1902, in St. Joseph to Edward and Charlotte (Loveless) Thielman. He married Alma Weiler Nov. 25, 1926, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waite Park. He lived and worked in St. Cloud in the granite industry until 1943 when he moved to Los Angeles, Calif., where he worked as a butcher and smoker, retiring in 1971, when he then returned to St. Cloud. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waite Park Senior Citizens and Butcher and House Provision Union of Los Angeles.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Donald, Los Angeles, Calif.; William, Singapore; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three stepgrand-children; sister and brother, Mrs. Fabian (Elvina) Alvord, Foley; Walter, Superior, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters; and son, David.
