Freeman "Fee" Loyd Brown was born on September 28, 1927 in Coweta, Oklahoma to William Washington Brown & Cora Belle (Cannon) Brown. He passed from this life on October 9, 2015 at his home in Jenks, Oklahoma, 12 days after his 88th birthday.

Freeman had been a resident of the Jenks community for most of his life. He retired after more than 40 years at John Zink Co. where he had worked as an electronics specialist and assembler. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Army. When he was not working, he enjoyed going to Branson and watching the shows, especially the quartets. He enjoyed spending time at the casinos and made several trips to Eureka Springs, Tunica & Topeka. He will be remembered as a very content man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, whom he married on October 7, 1950 in Ozark, Arkansas as well as by one daughter and husband, two sons, one daughter-in-law, one brother, two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings; Mary Lou Cary, Edna Kauffman, Virgil Brown, Clarence Brown, Lucille McCullough & Lola.

Services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 15, 2015 in the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Dr. Larry DeLay. Interment will follow in the Bixby Cemetery. Viewing hours will be held from 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 14.
