BOWMAN – Shirley J., 81, passed away Nov. 4, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 18, 1934, in South Fork, daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Brewer) Bowman. Preceded in death by sister, Lois Powers; and brothers, Dale, Raymond, Charles, Harry Dean and Kensil. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Lilly. She was on the church council, Altar Guild, secretary of Women’s ELCA and helped in many fundraisers. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Lilly, Pastor John Palko. Committal, South Fork Cemetery.
