Mrs. Faye Warlick Lockman, age 73, of 971 Hill Road in Lincolnton, died on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Harris Hospice in Charlotte.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lockman was born May 14, 1942, in Lincoln County to the late Charles Millard and Inez Nettles Warlick. She and her husband were co-owners of the former Iron Station Superette.

Survivors include her husband Jim Lockman of the home; two daughters, Karen Lockman Mace and husband Randall of Rockingham and Kathy Lockman Taylor and husband James of Lincolnton; one brother, Ralph “Buddy” Warlick of Hickory; three sisters, Catherine W. Waters of Vale, Emma Jo W. Hood of Cookesville and Martha W. George of Newton; four grandchildren, Tyler Sharpe, John Randall Mace, Jr., Michael Sharpe, Will Mace.
