Decatur--Funeral service for Johnny Gaylon Houston Sr., age 69, of Decatur will be 1 p.m. today, November 3, 2015 at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Houston and Rev. Clyde Ledlow officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Houston died Friday, October 30, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 5, 1946, in Franklin County to Clarence and Girtha Stanley Houston.
He is survived by three sons, Johnny Gaylon Houston Jr., Matthew Houston, both of Decatur, and Ronnie Jeremy Houston (Jennifer) of Belle Mina; one brother, Donald Houston of Decatur; two sisters, Joy Brown (James) of Moulton and Faith Houston, of Decatur; and two grandchildren, Cassandra Diane Houston and Jackson Tyler Houston.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
