TEXAS CITY - Wiley Willingham, 86, of Texas City died
March 27, 1999, at Columbia Mainland Center Hospital in Texas City.

He was born November 26, 1912, in Jewett, Texas. He was retired from American Oil Company after 27 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in WWII, a member of the Elks Mainland Lodge No. 2141 of La Marque, VFW Santa Fe No. 5400, OCAW, Eagles in Galveston, Amoco Retiree and Amoco Care.

Mr. Willingham is survived by his wife, Carmille Willingham of Texas City; daughter and sonin-law, Barbara Willingham Wainscott & husband Loyd of Spring, Texas; son, Dale Willingham of Galveston, Texas; three step-children, Vicky Schultz & husband Walter of Friendswood. Texas, Gerald Vassallo & wife Deanna of Texas City, and Charles Vassallo of Friendswood, Texas; sister, Gertrude Herrington of Waco, Texas; and sister-in-law, Judy Willingham of Houston. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; Jennifer Ann Willingham, Adrienne Marie Willingham, Kristen Kay Wainscott, Angela Renee Wainscott, Casey Leanne Gordy, Chad L. Gordy, Lindsey Vassallo, Eric Vassallo, Lisa Vassallo, Kristy Vassallo, and Michael Vassallo.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Oleta Wulingham.

Visitation will be Monday, March 29, 1999, at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque at 5:00 p.m., with a Elks Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be March 30,1999, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Jerry Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East in Webster, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Elks Cripple Children.
