Lucy was a wonderful, intelligent, friendly, and creative woman. She was a loving mother, kind, generous, and caring. She loved God, was a woman of faith, and a prayer warrior. Lucy was a long-time member of Asbury UMW church in Madison, and later a faithful member of Willerup United Methodist church. While raising her children, she returned to school to complete her college degree. Lucy attended UW-Rock County, earned her undergraduate degree from UW-Madison, and earned her Master’s degree in Library Science at UW-Milwaukee. She worked as a librarian until her retirement in 1990.
Lucille was the sixth child in a family of five boys and two girls.
