James L. Brown, 68, of Amarillo, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery at Pampa with Rick Pearson, youth minister of Calvary Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa.
Mr. Brown was born at Asher, Okla. He was a lifelong resident of Pampa and Amarillo. He was a Baptist and a member of Amarillo Senior Citizens Association.
Survivors include two sisters, Pat Britton of Pampa and Teddy Pyron of Lubbock; and a brother, Bill Brown of Waco.
