Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Zada Urry Christensen, passed away on November 2, 2015 with her eternal companion, Walter R. Christensen, by her side. They were surrounded by their loving family.

Zada was born August 14, 1933 to Herbert William and Emma Irene (Swaner) Urry. She was the eighth of nine children. She is survived by her younger brother, Dan W. Urry.

Zada married her high school sweetheart, Walter R. Christensen, for time and all eternity on March 5, 1953, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they had six children.

Zada had a firm testimony of her Heavenly Father and his gospel. She served diligently in her church callings, many of which were at Walter's side. As a family, we look forward to the day that we will be reunited with our Sadie.

How blessed we have been, how fortunate we truly are, that Zada was our wife, our mother, our grandmother, and our great-grandmother. But above all, Zada was and is our friend. We love you. We will miss you until we meet again.

Zada is survived by Walter and their six children: Christy Lee Carter, Shari Lynn Crane, Shauna Rae Woolstenhulme (Kendell), Walter Rex Christensen (Gaylynn), Tami Kay Christensen, and Debi Kay Clements (Paul). She is also survived by her nineteen grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren, all of whom knew that they were special and loved by Grandma "Ada." Zada was preceded in death by her great-grandbabies, Kai Spencer Halford and Annise Barlow.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street (100 East), Murray. A second viewing will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in the Hyland Lake Ward Building, 981 East Revere Circle, Murray. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in the Murray City Cemetery.
