Funeral services for Martha Sue Beshea Key, 73, will be held at 10:00am Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Carter officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Springhill, LA under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Key, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home November 2, 2015. She was born in the Shiloh Community near Springhill, LA and at a young age joined Shiloh Baptist Church in Springhill. In 1981 she moved to Union Parish with her husband, Tandy Key and opened the family operated Big Star grocery store.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie & Bertie Lea Styles Beshea; father-in-law & mother-in-law: A.J. & Jessie Thigpen; 1 brother: Billy Ray Beshea; 2 sisters: Evelyn Martin & Betty Jean Eason; and sister-in-law: Delores Wright.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Tandy Key of Farmerville; 3 sons: Rickey Morris & wife, Annamari of Farmerville, Terry Morris & wife, Stacey of Spearsville, and Scott Key & wife, Terry of Farmerville; 1 brother: Cleave Beshea & wife, Beth of Springhill; 2 sisters: Melba Keeling of Shreveport and Rita Velasquez of Sterlington; 8 grandchildren: Brandon Morris & wife, Stephanie, Alisan Rutland & husband, Ben, Justin Morris & wife, Hilary, Abby Morris, Kaitlin Thompson & husband, Derek, Holli Morris, Shawn Key, and Bethany Morris; 6 great grandchildren: Carter Morris, Ace Morris, Sulley Morris, Leland Thompson, Henleigh Thompson, and Barron Thompson.
