Rev. Father Cornelius F. Cremin, S.T.L., L.Ph., was for many years a professor at the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity in St. Paul, Minnesota, during the late 1910s and 1920s. During the 1930s, he taught at St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland, and he also taught at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He came to California in his later years, to San Diego and then to Los Angeles, where he died at age 67. From his obituary in the Los Angeles Times, Feb. 17, 1948:

"CREMIN, Rev. Cornelius F., of St. John's Hospital, Santa Monica. Beloved brother of James J. of Los Angeles, Denis J. and Daniel Cremin of Ireland, and Mrs. Daniel O'Keefe of Minneapolis, Minn."
